Diana Rivera brings over 40 years of experience in the managed healthcare industry, with expertise spanning administration, marketing, and provider network management. She has in-depth knowledge of IPA operations, including physician contracting, credentialing, recruitment, member services, and claims management.

As the acting CEO of Amada Health, Diana has played a pivotal role in growing the organization from its roots in California’s Central Valley to serving four Central California counties and Alameda County in Northern California. Today, Amada Health manages a network of more than 2,500 primary care and specialty providers, delivering comprehensive care to thousands of Medicare Advantage members across the state.

Beyond her leadership at Amada Health, Diana has built and managed several IPA’s and businesses, including her consulting firm, DK Medical Consulting. Her work has helped independent providers strengthen their practices while fostering collaboration between physicians and healthcare organizations through contract development, provider recruitment, training, and marketing initiatives.

Diana is also deeply committed to giving back to the community. Following her own battle with breast cancer in 2004, she became actively involved with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association, Today’s Woman Foundation (where she held the title of President from 2007-2010), Susan G. Komen Foundation, and the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation.

When she’s not leading healthcare initiatives, Diana enjoys spending time with her husband, two grown children, and five beautiful granddaughters.
