Diana Rivera has more than 40 years of experience in the managed healthcare industry, covering administration, marketing, and provider relations. She has a strong knowledge of IPA operations, including physician contracting, credentialing, recruitment, member services, and claims. She currently holds the position of acting CEO for Amada Health, a large IPA in Central California. She helped start Amada Health in the Central Valley, which has now grown to 4 Central California counties, and Alameda County in Northern California. Amada Health manages over 450 providers, including primary care and specialty care. Amada Health manages the total care of thousands of Medicare Advantage members throughout California.

Diana has built and managed several businesses, including her consulting firm, DK Medical Consulting. Her background in practice management has helped independent providers maintain their practices effectively. She has led collaborative efforts between management and physicians in planning, developing, and implementing health plan contracts, recruitment, provider training, and marketing.

One of her key passions is supporting non-profits, particularly in cancer support due to her personal battle with breast cancer in 2004. Her community involvement includes the American Cancer Society, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association, Today’s Woman Foundation, Susan G. Komen Foundation, and the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation. Diana is married, has two grown children and 5 beautiful granddaughters she enjoys spending time with.
